Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my site. 

My name is Christina Wallis and I love making Sugar flowers and Cold Porcelain Flowers.  I have become involved in this craft of hand made flowers sometime around ’15, firstly making flowers using gumpaste, the sort you decorate cakes with, then adding Cold Porcelain, the air dry clay originating in Japan,  specifically designed for making flowers, to my skill set. 

For the last few years, it has given me a great pleasure to be teaching private students as well as being a guest tutor in non profit  well being via creativity themed events. I have also taught cold porcelain flower craft at Victoria & Albert Museum, London. 

Some of you might know me via my Youtube Channel which offers 100+ flower tutorials in both sugar and Cold Porcelain which, unlike it’s older brother Porcelain and gumpaste, by the way,   is NOT fragile, but is flexible to touch, unbreakable and more or less everlasting with the right care. 

In the Summer of 2020 I have started selling commercially Flower and Foliage  Veiners I have designed,  by taking impressions of real plants and optimising them for best use. Prior to this my veiners were only available to my students but I’m very proud to be contributing good quality professional veiners  the existing veiner pool, actually! 

 Currently I have over 30 UK produced Botanically correct Veiners adding at least one new veiner every couple of weeks. 

 Last but not least, I am running a BLOG where I answer many of the questions about making sugar flowers, and, latey, clay flowers, that have come from my students  or were asked on my Youtube channel and other social media over and over again.  I do my best to cover the possible solutions to the flower questions at hand,  not excluding the context of cakes and sugarcraft in general, discussing different techniques, tools and materials
